If we are able to prevent problems for you it could very well save you money in the long run.
We are like the good neighbor you can rely on. We’ll let you know if there is anything wrong either by email or telephone and offer suggestions for taking care of it.
Mail Box Full-No One Home
Some of the things we look at
Outside we’ll test all exterior lights and motion detectors and replace bulbs if necessary. Perform a walk-around to check general home conditions such as broken windows, we’ll remove mail sitting in the mailbox and newspapers and fliers in your driveway, pick up litter and any trees branches and coconuts on the ground. These are all signs that your property is unoccupied. There’s no use advertising the fact to the bad guys. We’ll look out for water leaks, septic tank overflow, make sure your sprinkler system is working. Tighten boats covers, monitor trailer tire pressure and generally make your place look cared for and that someone is looking out for it. We even offer Round Up weed killer service to keep your yard weed free.
If you’d like us to check on the interior
We’ll be glad to check circuit breakers for electrical problems change air conditioning filters, test smoke alarms, flush toilets and run the water to prevent stagnation and to ensure everything works. Look for pest and insect infestations. Empty refrigerator tray water if needed and look for any pest problems. If you’d like us to water your house plants just tell us how often, that can be easily added to our service.

If you rent your property or are having guests
While you are away we can act as your contact person. We can help control locks and keys and make sure the property is in the same condition as when they received the key. We’ll be glad to show the house’s features to your guests or tenants or prospective buyers. We’ll make sure your house gets professionally cleaned before and after they leave. Whatever you’d like, we do it all or as little.
Your property will be ready for your return
If you are returning to the Keys we can air out your house, turn on the water heater, refrigerator and AC, clean up your yard, do some grocery shopping for you and also clean your home so all you have to do is kick your shoes off and enjoy. We will do as much or as little as you would like.
If you are having a Realtor show your property we can make it look good. If your shutters are still up we’ll remove and store them, clean up the yard and make the house more appealing to prospective buyers. After the showing we will return and put the shutters back in place if you’d like.
Repairs
We will perform minor repairs. We have a service truck with all the tools and equipment needed to do on-the-spot repairs and we have generator power when the power grid is out. Before any other repairs are made we will photograph and email you pictures of any damage or areas in need of repair to help you decide if a repair is necessary. For larger repairs we will have one of our reputable local businesses do the work or a tradesman you recommend.
